VOIP

VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) memungkinkan sambungan telephone menggunakan jaringan komputer seperti internet. VoIP mengubah sinyal audio analog dari telephone menjadi sinyal digital yang bisa dikirim melalui internet kemudian mengubah kembali sinyal digital tersebut pada pesawat telephone penerima sehingga kita bisa berbicara seperti menggunakan telephone biasa. VoIP juga memungkinkan panggilan langsung dari komputer menggunakan microphone atau telephone biasa.

Untuk melakukan panggilan, tekan nomor yang dituju dengan menggunakan adaptor yang terhubung pada koneksi internet kecepatan tinggi. Panggilan ini akan langsung terhubung ke VoIP Provider tanpa melalui perusahaan telephone.
VPN

Pada dasarnya, VPN adalah private network yang menggunakan public network seperti internet untuk menghubungkan antar user. Teknologi VPN juga memberikan fasilitas untuk proteksi data dengan menggunakan metode encryption, digital certificates, autentifikasi user serta kontrol akses yang tinggi.

VPN mendukung metode:

  • LAN-to-LAN internetworking
  • Kontrol akses dalam intranet
